Luxury Resort with comfort Once can expeciece tranquility, the beauty of this property from its wide spread area and the stay rooms is beyond words. Was here for a family vacation with our 2 kids 6 yrs and 8 months old and I must admit the place is very comfortable with luxury. The food was very nice and kids got their food as desired including our 8 month old baby. Well prepared and with a decent variety towards morning breakfast. The property is large and one can relax and have a peaceful time in this property. Beautified with flowers and fish ponds and mini waterfall and a holy temple. A simple walk around the grass garden you will enjoy and find spots to pickup selfie points with beautiful backgrounds.

Excellent Hotel and Dinner Buffet It is a great property with superb view. The Dinner buffet is excellent with daily change in menu and cuisine. The menu is carefully selected to accommodate International palate . Breakfast is basic but needs to be changed as it gets boring if staying for a longer time. Staff is very polite . Free shuttle service available for the Lake area.

This hotel had everything you could want, the gardens were stunning and the views from the rooms unbelievable. The staff were exceptional and the food - buffet style was great for both dinner and breakfast. The rooms were very spacious with a lovely balcony and very clean. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at this hotel and I would highly recommend it to any travellers to Pokhara -you won't be disappointed.

So this was something I wasn't too sure about - it was our first family outing as a family of 4, and our younger child was 4 months old. But, the moment we got here, the hotel's superb facilities and staff made sure this was one of the most memorable holidays we've had in quite a while. The hotel itself is very pretty, and our room's verandah opened up to the Annapurnas. We could have spent all day just sipping tea on the small table there. From the get-go, the staff were very attentive, and delighted us at every turn. On my birthday, they arranged for a surprise cake from their bakery. The spa was excellent, so too were the meals, and the staff always ensured that our two little children were well-taken care of. A special mention for Ms. Prakriti from the staff. After we left the hotel, we discovered that we'd left a part of our baby's stroller (the hood) in our room itself. Ms. Prakriti sent it by the next flight to Kathmandu so that we didn't miss it. She had also ensured that we didn't get stuck in Pokhara town when there was a sudden storm by sending over the hotel's shuttle out of turn just to pick us up. All the smiles and happy memories on this holiday were almost completely attributable to the staff!

My first stay, this close to the airport and town hotel provided everything a tourist wants. Room was nice, balcony fronting the Annapurna mountain range...breathtaking beauty captivating our attention for hours. Food was great, staff warm and friendly. Two great male masseurs took care of our body's aches. Pool too chilly to swim in, but lovely addition to the ambiance and beauty of the grounds. Flowers blooming everywhere. Mr. Araj Pannachan was most helpful to us, so warm and attentive!

"A great hotel, great grounds and a fantastic view of the mountains." The rooms are great and large and clean, the service is unique the grounds are great. The location of the hotel is wonderful, with the hotel bus about 15 minutes to the city center. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous and attentive. Check-in and check-out is very quick - all in all, a fantastic hotel complex in one of the most beautiful landscapes.

Shangri-La Hotel - Charming, and Sublime The Shangri-La Hotel is a wonderful hotel/resort in every aspect. Situated not too far from Phewa Lake, it is an ideal hotel to take refuge after a long trek, or for a tourist who is on a visit to Pokhara. All staff are very polite and efficient. The food which includes a buffet style breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offers a nice variety of dishes to satisfy anyone’s appetite. Western dishes, traditional Nepalese cuisine are all to be savored and enjoyed. The food is delicious. Rooms are very clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated in a traditional Nepalese style. The room décor is not overdone but stylish and elegant. The grounds of the Shangri-La Hotel are large, and secure. Every room will afford a guest a view of lush gardens where one can be at ease and relax. From some rooms, you can see some of the Annapurna mountain range. There is a beautiful pool and a nice gift shop. Hotel staff at reception are very welcoming and can arrange daily excursions around Pokhara or to the center of town by the lake. I would suggest allowing at least 2 nights so as to not feel hurried and to have a chance to experience the relaxed atmosphere of Pokhara as well as the Shangri-La Hotel. Finally, a very special thanks to the Resident Manager, Mr. Gupta Giri, whose hospitality skills demonstrated dedication to the Shangri-La Hotel’s mission, enthusiasm, knowledge, and commitment to making all guests feel welcome and appreciated.

Trek in the Annapurna mountain range We stayed here for 2 nights after our 5 day trek. It is set in tranquil landscape gardens, with the Annapurna mountain range as a backdrop. The bedroom with balcony was very spacious and well equipped, although a little tired. The staff was very friendly and attentive. There must have been a coach load of mainland Chinese tourists as they took over the dining room at breakfast. It didn’t help that the chairs were big and chunky, overfilling the restaurant thus it was a little difficult to get to the buffet. There was a free shuttle service to the Phewa lakeside. Overall we had an enjoyable stay!
